Sheep And Wool

This weekend saw the annual Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. The kids had a great time there. On Saturday, they explored the Gem and Mineral exhibit, and picked up a collection of rocks. They saw the animals, and watched the Crazy Scientist lecture, showing some of the fun things you can do with dry ice, gravity, and explosions. They loved it !On Sunday, we took the kids back and Orla built a squirrel feeder out of wood – she hammered the nails, and glued the dowels, and trimmed it with a saw. She’s going to be a regular woodworker soon. Eoghan, meanwhile, was more interested in exploring the straw bale maze…
