Rushing Around

Vacation started this weekend, and while I am looking forward to having a leisurely time of it the first few days have been pretty busy. It’s great to be out of the office…

On Saturday, soccer practice was rained out, so we spent a lazy day at home. Sunday morning at 5:30am saw me on the road to Toronto, where I arrived at noon for a wedding brunch. It was fun to meet up with some cousins I hadn’t seen in quite a while. I checked out the town of Stratford – home to the famous Shakespeare festival – later that day, and spent the night in St. Mary’s at Stephen’s hotel, the Westover Inn. It’s a very peaceful place, well worth a visit, especially during the theatre season…

On Monday morning I had an early start, on the road at 4:30am for the 500 mile drive back to Rhinebeck… Stopped off for lunch, and then headed in to NY for a Rush concert at Madison Square Garden with Liam…
